The Format
Smaller Squads. Bigger Moments.
Every team plays three 20-minute matches per match day. There are no coaches on the pitch - players lead themselves. The league uses a faster ball and rules designed for high-tempo 7v7 competition.

The Scoring System
Sensational Points
Winning matches matters - but it's not the only way to climb the table. Teams earn Sensational Points across three categories, rewarding what happens on the pitch and off it.
Performance
Every team plays three 20-minute matches per match day. Win, draw, or lose - points are awarded based on results, just like traditional football. Three wins means nine points.
Crowd
Teams earn Crowd points by building their fanbase. Bring fans to match days, create content on social media, host meet-ups, and grow the community around the team.
Amplify
Amplify points reward teams for supporting women's sport beyond Sensational League. Show up at each other's club matches, attend women's sports events, and spotlight female athletes on your platforms.
Match Day Feature
The Lab
Every match day includes The Lab - a 30-minute strategic session where teams plan their Crowd and Amplify activities for the coming weeks. Teams collaborate, invite fans to participate, and map out their path to maximum points.
The Experience
Match Day
Each match day is a half-day festival. Football, entertainment, community, and culture - all in one place.
The Gathering
Doors open. Families, first-timers, and fans arrive. The first matches kick off, the Kids Zone fills up, and Lab sessions begin.
The Build
Energy rises as the afternoon crowd arrives. Bleachers fill, the Kids mini-match takes centre stage, VIP sessions run, and the atmosphere intensifies.
The Peak
The final matches, the loudest crowd, the biggest moments. Standing zones create a festival atmosphere and the day ends with a post-match celebration.
